You can do so by changing the start time in the task list. A simple
access to the task editor from the graphical part of the gantt chart
should solve your problem.

But, in my mind, it's only a partial solution: if you add then
any task to your project, this on will be frozen.

I see no good solution except:
- using the calendar to state that the N next days following this
  task are NonWorking days
- creating a "fake" small task as you did.

I see no good way to produce a gantt chart in "Pure HTML", except via
a picture. I tried to write a little C program based on libmrproject
to draw it, it's not fully usable, but start to works. The main
flaw is the running time: when you use "large" projects, with about
10 "main task" having each about 10 "sub tasks", and a good nomber
of relations, then, you'll to wait for about 1 minute for the program
to load the project, and you'll have to load the project for each click
if it's a CGI script...

And, of course, the produced picture is rather large.

And, sad thing, usual browsers (mozilla, opera, and so on) have very
poor features in printing large pictures.

I should write a small plugin to create directly a PS file :-)
