MrProject 0.6 under SuSE 8.1

Hello, SuSE 8.1 is shipped with MrProject 0.6. I have used YaST to install but when I start Mr Project I only get the Main Window and three buttons. Nothing like what is shown on the MrProject Web Site. The Archives show that this problem has been encountered by other SuSE 8.1 users. But it never gives a reason or a solution for the problem.
