Gnome 2 is not a dependency because Mandrake come with Gnome2.
But, for example, to compile the libmrproject 0.9 he needs:
glib-2.0 >= 2.0.4
libxml-2.0 >= 2.4.7
gobject-2.0 gmodule-2.0
libgsf-1 >= 1.4.0
I tried to install MrProject 0.8 and any of these libraries needs from 2
to 5 dependencies, and so on...
Believe me, its a hard work to a end user like me run MrProject 0.9...
