Question on task end date stored in xml file

I searched the archives and did not find this issue.

I am running mrproject 0.9 and ran into a issue when I try to extract
task data from the xml file using the mrproject2html script.

I noticed that mrproject displays correct end dates, but the value
stored in the xml file appears to be incorrect. I also noted that if I
edit the file with vi and replace the end date with a correct value that
it does not alter the display in mrproject, but when saved the "end="
value will return to the incorrect value.

Is this a know issue?
