Hi Richard, Alan, It depends on your umask settings. If you run the 0.9.1. RedHat rpm with 'umask 007' then it won't set read permissions for 'others' for these directories. Setting the umask to say '002' before running the rpm solves this, but I guess the rpm should set the directory permissions appropriately. I mentioned this in an email back on 3 April, which Mikael Hallendal picked up on, so I guess this'll be rectified in the next release. (Which I just can't wait for :) Cheers, Frank ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Hult" <[email protected]> To: "Project Management application for GNOME" <[email protected]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, April 14, 2003 7:59 AM Subject: Re: [MrProject] RE: Can't reopen file created with ver 0.9.1 onRedHat 8.0 - fix! > mån 2003-04-14 klockan 01.34 skrev Pence, Alan: > > > I had the same error with the help files being unavailable, and from his > > suggestion I found the gnome help dir unreadable.
