You're not mistaken.  It seems that a few months back, Mikael and
Richard left codefactory and formed their own company: 
http://www.imendio.com/

It seems that MrProject is now without clear leadership due to this
split of the MrProject development crew from Codefactory.  While I don't
know exactly what the issues are, or even if there are any, but on
behalf of MrProject users and enthusiasts like myself, I'd like to
encourage both the Codefactory and Imendio folks to settle their
differences - or at least come to an agreement on the fate of MrProject
so that development can move forward.
