Which user group are you targeting for?

Dear Developers!

What target group are you aiming at with MrProject?

a) Current MsProject users
b) Users which currently do not use MsProject because their need is not met
by MsProject because it is too complex or it does miss certain features, and
do have a need for project management software.

What industry do you target at?

House-Building projects
Software writing projects
Event management projects
Movie production
Product launch project (Marketing projects)
...

All this different industries do have certain needs for Project management
software
which differ from each other.
And to be attractive to all the different user groups, you would need to be
feature complete, which is a huge task. It is much easier to be attractive
to one user group first, and add one feature after the other for the other
user groups.

PS: I think it is just not enough to run on Linux. You should haved some
advantage over
MsProject to attract users.

PPS: I personally think that MrProject could be a killer application for
professionals
(within one industry after the other) which might be the reason for them to
switch to Linux.
