another 0.90 question

Hi,

my work on 0.90 is now so far that i need my first controller (gui etc).
But since i suck when it comes to programming guis i will write a cli.
How should i write it?

plain c?
ncurses interface?
write python bindings and program it in python?

any better ideas?
