hello all I am in the process of specifying a way to map cleanly as many VCard prop= erties to LDAP fields as possible. this effort will be used to advance development of th= e LDAP connector [2] for Sync4j [1]. if I understand correctly, there exists no RFC or any other accepted spec= ification to do this the "proper" way. but before we roll our own mapping, I wanted to as= k you first. I know that multisync did work wonderfully with my trusty old Palm IIIx a= nd LDAP, and that you guys wrote a SyncML plugin for it as well. now I suppose that mu= ltisync internally has its own data-model for contacts, calendar items, and to-do= -items and that each plugin has first to convert its own data to this internal format. is there any documentation about multisync's mapping? or should I simply = try to read the code? any hints would be appreciated! thanks & regards nicola fankhauser [1]: http://sync4j.org/ [2]: https://wiki.objectweb.org/sync4j/Wiki.jsp?page=3DSync4jLDAPConnecto= r ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practic= es Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & Q= A Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf
