multisync documentation and support for Palm OS5?

Hi group,

I have been trying to find documentation about the features of
multisync. I have understood how it works, but besides a brief
description of multisync, and a couple of pages describing specific
devices, there is no documentation available. I even downloaded the
source code, hoping it might contain a man page, README or something,
but there is none. I know the developers are busy improving the program,
and probably have little time to write detailed documentation, but even
a simple README file with basic information on running and configuring
multisync would be very useful.

Now, I became interested in multisync, because I have a Palm tungsten
T3. I currently sync it with jpilot, and this works fine, but jpilot
does not integrate with the rest of the system like Evolution does. And
jpilot does not (yet) support the extra fields in the new Contacts
application in PalmOS 5. Does anyone know if multisync properly
synchronises all the fields in the Contacts database with the relevant
fields in Evolution?

When I tried to use gnome-pilot, the birthday and custom fields on the
Palm, for example, were not synced to Evolution.
