Let me try to confirm as well because I experience similar problem

ii libwbxml2 0.9.0-yarko-1 WBXML parsing and encoding library
yarko sub-version of the debian package means that it was the package I
compiled from the patched libwbxml from the website
Here is the link to debug log of my connection. As you
can see - the first chunk of SyncML parsed Ok, and then it chockes on
the second piece...
