SyncML Remote Problems

I am trying to sync two Evolutions via the Internet. I have set up a
SyncML server on my host computer as the first plugin, and Evolution as
the second plug in. This is Evolution 1.4.6 (One of these days, I will
upgrade and get 2). This one is populated. On my remote computer, I have
set up a SyncML client that connects back to my Server, and the second
plugin is Evolution 2. This one is empty, I am trying to get everything
onto this one. However, when I hit Sync on the client machine, nothing
happens. It says get changes, then back to "Press sync..." I ran it in
the terminal on both machines, and I saw no error messages. I have set
the flag MULTISYNC_DEBUG, but this seems to do nothing to the output. I
also check the packets going back and forth between machines, and it
looks like they are talking, but they are not sending any data back and
forth. Now, I tried this before, and it wasn't working, so I tried
"Resync" on the host, and then it worked... once. Any changes after that
either didn't work, or only went one direction, host -> client. So I
tried Resync again... well, thats when I had to pull out my backups,
because everything was duplicated on both machines, so then I deleted
them all on the client to start over, then they all got deleted on the
host machine. Anyway, does anyone have any specific steps for SyncML? I
am using 0.82. NOT from CVS, so you are probably going to tell me to do
that, but I am just too lazy to compile at the moment. And my one
machine, I wouldn't doubt it doesn't even have the capability, because
it is Ubuntu, and I am playing around with it.

If anyone thinks they can help, I'd appreciate it.
