Evolution2 and Ipaq 4150

Hi, new to this list, hope someone can help.

I'm using Gentoo and followed this installation guide:

I'm not sure what the problem is. They find each other, but then all
goes 
wrong. If I kill dccm, restart synce-serial-start and call multisync I
get
