Actually it _should_ work but we dont garantee anything :)

yes, at the moment there will always be loss of information. it is
planned for a later version to add "merging" capabilities to multisync
to prevent this.

The first thing you should do is run multisync in a shell and set
export MULTISYNC_DEBUG=1
before running it. Then look if there are any obvious error messages.

Besides that its probably hard to debug the problems if you are not a
programmer...
