Still struggling to sync

Using FC3, Evo 2.0.2 and Opie.

I keep getting "Failed to connect to remote: Could not connect to
server. Connection timed out."

Can I ask these basic question:

1. is the default IP address in Opie always correct or could that be
wrong/ How can I check it?

2. I presume the password for the FTP is the default of root/rootme and
not the password of root on the computer

3. I notice that the options for Evo 2 a;way drop back to No
addressbook, No tasks, No calendar. Is this normal? I am guessing that
his is because I have not been able to make a connection yet. But is
this causing the problem?

Thanks for help

Dave
