Hi Armin and Thanks I found another web page suggesting installation oaf evolution-data-server-dev and evolution-dev which I did, and then recompiled and installed. Then I erased the sockets as you instructed and now it goes a bit further but can not find the addressbook and hangs ...? Thoughts?
