Palm m505 syncing problems with multiple-day events

Hi,

someone gave me a Palm m505 recently as a gift. The software version on the device is 4.0. I can attach the USB cradle and sync it with the Palm and Mozilla Sunbird plugins over WebDAV. Everything seems to work fine, except there are some problems with multiple-day events:

1. Events that span multiple days are only shown on the first day in the palm, regardless if they are entered as being "whole-day" or having a specified start and end time.

2. Events that span multiple days entered as "recurring events" in sunbird (with start and end day given) will start at the given day, but last forever on the palm.

Anyone knows how to work around this?
