ah no. sorry forgot to tell you:
the syncml http server plugin is a "server" plugin which means that it
cannot be told to synchronize directly. instead you have to start the
server so it starts to listen for incoming connections.

so instead of msynctool --sync nokia use this command:
msynctool --sync nokia --wait

then the command line tool should start up but not synchronize. Then as
soon as you connect with the mobile the synchronization should start.
