tarballs

Hi,
Although I have the impression that few people read this list (this is
my 3rd message without a response) I would like to know why the tarballs
won't compile with rpmbuild.
When trying rpmbuild -ta multisync....
The response is:
error: Name field must be present in package: (main package)
error: Version field must be present in package: (main package)
error: Release field must be present in package: (main package)
error: Summary field must be present in package: (main package)
error: Group field must be present in package: (main package)
error: License field must be present in package: (main package)
Of course decompressing and compiling in the normal way works but than
the package isn't seen by the rpm database.
Anybody any idea?
