Actually suddenly I now remember all about it.  :D
I did not know “X-Face:” could be such a header in that realm.
I just editted it here as you indicated;
let’s see if it’ll work on this post.

(I do know Pan will reject/ignore lines such as “Reference:”
when added in those manners, probably for obvious reasons, 
but then I always want to properly reference a reply
no matter where I am ‘now’ [to which group my reply goes]
vis-à-vis where the original message ‘was’, see.
Of course we _do_ have the source… >:-> [evil grin])

I guess I am asking about the specifications of color xface,
then perhaps someone could whip-up a conversion page
such as yours.
