The second patch worked but it seems that configure alone is to less I
had to run all of the auto.... scripts.

However, syncing only started to work after I did a copy to pilot once.
Now it works bothways. But with out the one time action executed once I
had the same result as before. So there might have been an other issue
too.

I made an ebuild for those using gentoo. The patch has to go in the
files dir. I used the same number as the one in the orinal ebuild but
someone might like to improve this. All I did is add a line to include
the patch.
