Problems with file conduit and Treo 680

I'm trying to install a .prc file (the Filez file manager), and the file
transfer just hangs. I have to cancel the sync on the Treo to get it to
respond. It seems that gpilot-install-file cannot actually start the
transfer. Regular syncs that aren't file transfers seem to be OK (a
test memo that I wrote on the Treo successfully transfered to my
workstation). But the file conduit seems broken. And pilot-xfer -i
hangs just the same.

Is it just a (hopefully temporary) incompatibility with the Treo 680?
My gpilot version:

gpilotd-Message: compiled for pilot-link version 0.12.1
gpilotd-Message: compiled with [VFS] [USB] [IrDA] [Network]
GNOME gnome-pilot 2.0.15

Any ideas?
