Problem Connecting TREO 700p

Hi,

I have gnome-pilot 2.0.15-0ubuntu1 installed but I cannot connect with 
my TREO 700p.

(gnome-pilot:3164): gpilotd-WARNING **: An error occurred while getting 
the PDA's system data

I also have pilot-link 0.12.2-7ubuntu1installed.

My cable works on my windows machine.
