Re: gpilotd sync stopped working

Hi,

As you are using libusb, it might be udev that breaks it.
Are you running pilot-xfer as root, or as the same user as gpilotd?

For me to get them both working as non-root user, I had to do the following:

in /etc/udev/rules.d/60-libpisock.rules
Change this line:
SUBSYSTEMS!="usb", ACTION!="add", GOTO="libpisock_rules_end"
to:
SUBSYSTEMS!="usb_device", ACTION!="add", GOTO="libpisock_rules_end"

I also posted this to pilot-link mailing list, but it did not arrive 
there yet.
