I assume you have successfully installed it. In Ubuntu its done via Preferences|PalmOS Devices. If it is properly installed you should see a small icon looking like a synchronise button on the launch panel. To install an application drag it onto the icon and then synchronise. To transfer files you need to set up details in the Conduits tab in PalmOS Devices.
