Planner-list Due Dates or Deadlines and Working backwards

Hi!

I'm trying to use planner to set a due date/deadline (instead of a start
date) and work the # of days backwards.  Is that possible?  I was hoping by
putting negative values in it would work, but it did not.

Please let me know if this is possible.
