Pybliographer unusable with latest Mandrake

I'm not able to insert anymore a citation into lyx : a working
bibliography and workstation stopped working since last update on latest
Mandrakelinux installation. I'm posting a bug, but you may know a
workaround ?

It seems there is a problem with unicode.
Can you confirm the bug, and possibly tell me how to fix it (either
quick and dirty or more clean ...).
