Strange problem ...

Since yesterday i cannot update the pdf produced by lyx.

My document is a multi-part document with one regrouping all of them.

If i want to see the pdf (via pdflatex) one the current document, it
updates OK, but i do it from the meta document, it doesn't work (altough
it worked before).

If i restart lyx, then the new version is taken into account to produce
the pdf ...

How can i tell lyx to use the updated version without being forced to
quit and restart ?

BTW, this behaviour happened after i modifier manually the file to
adjust equations parameters, but i have modified this file in lyx since
then, and no particular error messages seems to come.

Is there some kind of timestamp on files, how can i update it ?
