[Q] Scripting interface.

Greetings,

I just subscribed to this list.

I am thinking of using Pybliographer as the basis for a set if import/export 
filters for OpenOffice.org.

Now, what I need to know is if pybliographer is implemented compltely in 
Python, or if there are parts that have to be compiled for each machine.

OpenOffice.org is cross-platform, and it comes with Python bindings.  As 
long as Pybliographer is pure-python, making the filter should be relatively 
straight forward.

But if there are components that have to be compiled for each platform, 
there are going to be problems.  Mostly because I only have access to one 
platform (Solaris).

Notice, it's okay that the GUI has to be compiled because I have no interest 
in the GUI anyways.  The filter will have its own GUI using the OpenOffice 
object model.  What I need is a stand-alone, Python-only, library to 
read/write bibliographic files.
