I would consider this feature also useful. Right now I managed to get
around this lack by renaming the pdf file that I downloaded to the PMID
of the article...

But yes, it would be much easier to link the name of the file as
downloaded from the Internet to the reference.

BTW: Has any user of pybliographer used EndNote and/or ReferenceManager
or <any other biblio manager> that could give a list of features they
find missing in pybliographer?

Something like:

"The most useful feature that I miss in pybliographer is to be able to
<2-3 lines explanation of the feature>",
