ohh yes, you're right. Because primarily I wanted to use
my own styles, I overlooked that by default the field is
filled with the default path, not a style...

also my own (some years old) styles work, after I deleted the line

   <!DOCTYPE bibstyle PUBLIC "-//Pybliographer//DTD Bibliographic Style Format//EN" "">
