Thanks for your patch. We are just in the process of releasing 1.2.7,
and will see how to integrate your work when the release is done.

To ease the collaboration, I suggest that you install baz (it's a GNU
Arch client, the tool we use for versioning), and make your own branch
from the official one. If you're interested, we can discuss that
off-list.
