When pybliographer imports from medline (i.e. downloads from
www.pubmed.org) it seems that the AU field is used:
in the medline file:
FAU - Myburgh, J A
AU - Myburgh JA
FAU - Webb, R K
AU - Webb RK
FAU - Worthley, L I
AU - Worthley LI
in bibtex:
Author = {Myburgh, J.A. and Webb, R.K. and Worthley,
L.I.},
This, however, leads to problems when running bibtex, since the initials
are not separated by a space and so are treated as a "Name".
Thus, the bibliography entry in the final document would read:
Myburgh J, Webb R, Worthley L
when the bst style file should give
Myburgh JA, Webb RK, Worthley LI
Obviously one can manually add the space and bibtex works as expected.
My question is:
Can pybliographer be instructed to import from FAU not AU?
I tried doing this via preferences/MEDLINE and screwed it up totally (se
my other post)...
Thanks for the attention to this point.
