It's still lacking a few features to make it really useful as a
replacement for 1.2, but it's getting there. I would certainly need
someone to at least _test_ the windows version regularely :-)

You should be able to use pybliographic with pre-compiled dependencies
(gtk, elementtree,...), so I hope you don't need a compiler at all. I
need to merge the windows installer first, I'll provide some feedback
soon.
