Hi,
I have the exact same problem. I routinely import ISI records by opening the field
tagged ISI file in pybliographer (1.2.7). I them drag & drop entries to an existing
Bibtex database. All the older ISI records with capitalized entries stay capitalized.
When the "Capitalization" feature of pybliographic is turned (say, for the journal
title) on during the process, I even get a Bibtex record in which the journal title
is explicitely protected with braces.
I would like to change all the faulty entries that have accumulated in my database
back. Has there been a solution yet?
Anyway, congratulations to a great program!
Cheers, Nils Becker
Example:
Imported ISI record:
FN ISI Export Format
VR 1.0
PT J
AU SCHLEIF, R
TI FINE-STRUCTURE DELETION MAP OF ESCHERICHIA-COLI L-ARABINOSE OPERON
SO PROCEEDINGS OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA
PY 1972
VL 69
IS 11
BP 3479
EP &
UT ISI:A1972O028600086
ER
EF
Result in Bibtex when Capitalization is on (for the title):
@Article{schleif72,
Author = {SCHLEIF, R.},
Title = {F{INE}-{STRUCTURE} {DELETION} {MAP} {OF}
{ESCHERICHIA}-{COLI} {L}-{ARABINOSE} {OPERON}},
Journal = {PROCEEDINGS OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA},
Volume = {69},
Number = {11},
Pages = {3479 --},
sourceid = {ISI:A1972O028600086},
year = 1972
}
