Hello everybody,
I have a small problem with pybliographic 1.2.9 (the ubuntu edgy
version) : an empty "entry-0" entry is created any time I add entries
from IEEE.
I'm adding refs from IEEE with the following process :
1. find the article "abstractplus" page on IEEE Xplore (for instance
http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/search/srchabstract.jsp?arnumber=4209640&isnumber=4209049&punumber=4209048&k2dockey=4209640@ieeecnfs&query=%28%28+%28+park%3Cin%3Emetadata+%29+%3Cand%3E+%28+2007%3Cin%3Emetadata+%29+%29+%3Cand%3E+%28robotics%3Cin%3Emetadata%29%29&pos=12)
2. convert it to a .bib entry with
http://www.bibconverter.net/bibconv.py (with the bookmarklet, it's a one
clic operation)
3. add an entry in pybliographic, switch to raw edit, delete the empty
InProceedings{entry-0,...} text, paste the result from 2 (with the key).
4. on IEEE Xplore, download the fulltext PDF,
5. on pybliographic, switch back to standard edit, add the the link to
the pdf (I added a custom "file" field).
At the end of this process, both the correct entry _and_ an empty
"entry-0" are created. Could we avoid this ?
Bonus questions:
* do you think of any easy way to speed-up this process ? Maybe I
should write some query plugin for IEEE ?
* what about adding support for a "doi" field
(http://doi.org/faq.html#1) ?
* what about fulltext support (I saw
http://pybliographer.org/Roadmap_for_1.3/Fulltext_handling) ?
Thanks for any help/idea !
