Hi

I've been using pybliographer for years on linux, but am having trouble =

displaying my database (bibtex *.bib file) since upgrading to ubuntu =

11.10 using the gnome 3 desktop. The file appears to load by the =

pybliographic window stays blank.

Loading from the terminal returns a GTK warning:

smc@nakrasana:~$ pybliographic

It looks to me like there is some dependency that was unmet when I =

installed pybliographer from synaptic software manager. I tried a =

reinstall with no success.

So I uninstalled the package with sysnaptic, and tried a reinstall from =

the command line:

smc@nakrasana:~$ sudo apt-get install pybliographer

I get the same warmings but another clue:

smc@nakrasana:~$ pybliographic

So I realise that where I previously edited references in pybliographer =

using the LaTex option, the LaTex commands that were saved with those =

reference entries are now causing a problem on reloading .... This seems =

to be a problem with a later version of pybliographer.

How to solve this?

After some googling for solutions, I find my only option is to pester =

the maillist. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Best fishes
