I'm glad you solved your issue :) However, filling bugs in Launchpad is probably not going to get you an answer. The proper way is to file bug reports with Rhythmbox own bug tracker located at http://bugzilla.gnome.org. If I remember well you can even do this with Launchpad itself, since it is able to send bugs filled in Launchpad to upstream.
