I suppose that what you want to do is to get the metadata from the files
when you mean importing files. You have two ways.

   - This is not at all how Rhythmbox does it, since Rhythmbox predates the
   creation of this code, but you can use the GstDiscoverer utility class:

   sure if it's available in any distribution yet, since it's quite new, but
   it's awesome.
