[Patch review request] Bottom panel for plugins is not shown

Hi,

  A couple of weeks ago, I've ran into a problem with a plugin I've
written. I've tried adding a widget to the bottom panel, but that doesn't
seem to work.

  I've submitted a bug report and added a patch that works for me -
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688515 . I'd be grateful if
someone could look at it and let me know if it's valid or not. Maybe I'm
doing something wrong in my plugin.
