No settings widget on new rhythmbox 2.99.1 (fedora 19)

Hi,

I was wanting to test the 'new' rhythmbox, (rhythmbox-2.99.1-1.fc19.x86_64)
and strangely on my laptop I don't get the 'settings' widget on the upper
right of the screen.  I did also installed in a kvm box and it does appear
there.  Weird,  Just that I would like it on the laptop.  I tried nuking my
~/.local/share/rhythmbox directory with same result.  Any idea what may be
happening here?  Screenshot and error below.
