Hi Ankit, This is probably of absolutely no help to you, but I'm running 2.99.1 on GNOME 3 and it's working for me (have a look at the attached screenshot). Also, it might be a stupid question, but is the plugin enabled? When I went to check mine just now, I found that it wasn't. Maybe I disabled it and forgot in the mean time, but I'm nearly sure it was enabled before I upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04 recently. Finally, have you tried looking at Rhythmbox's debug output for any Python Conole-related messages?
