i've some troubles to play streams like:
http://mp3stream3.apasf.apa.at:8000/listen.pls
mms://apasf.apa.at/oe1_live_worldwide
http://mp3stream1.apasf.apa.at:8000
or
http://stream.srg-ssr.ch/drs3/mp3_128.m3u

with a result that the network-connection receives a stream (some incoming
traffic, but no sound/voice is genetated :( interrupting the network connection
interrupts the constant datastream.

but other streams works well:
http://stream-sd.radioparadise.com/rp_192m.ogg
or:
http://somafm.com/sonicuniverse192.pls

hint: in the past these marked streams worked (while using earlier versions of
the rhythmbox). btw. mplayer does play any one directly from commandline
without any problems (with enabled option: "-playlist").

nevertheless all in all you did a great job, tnx for help

carsten :)
