Not working plugins with RB-3.0.1

Hi,

I was wondering if it is a known problem that three of the plugins
distributed with RB do not work with python-3: zeitgeist, lyrics and
im-status plugins. All of them fail to load with syntax errors. Is this
a known situation currently of am I having some problems with the
configuration?

Anyway, I need at least to make im-status work again and it seems to me
that it is rather easy to fix. Can someone with python knowledge help to
fix it?

PS: Currently I get this error when the plugin loads:

    new_status = _(u"♫ %(artist)s - %(title)s ♫") % subs
                                                    ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
