GNOME2 and OS X

Hi -

I just got a new iBook and I'd like to install GNOME2 on it.  I'm 
currently trying to get GNOME 1.4 installed via fink so that I can run 
Evolution but I was curious at the ways others have built GNOME2 on OS 
X..
