Hey Rui,

I haven't seen any replys from the main devs.  I am a scaffold developer
myself but haven't gotten CVS access yet or I would apply your patches. 
Just in case I would submit them to bugzilla.gnome.org if you haven't
already done so.  This will make sure they don't get lost.  I will look
at the TODO comments and at least tell you what I think.  Don't know if
it means anything.  Good to have another developer aboard.
