Hi george,

If you have retreived the doc from lidn.sourceforge.net, so maybe I
have the solution of your problem since I had the same problem when I've
tried to install new books.

Try to edit your $BOOK_NAME.devhelp that must be present in the book
directory that must be named $BOOK_NAME.

Check out the <book> tag and check that the parameter base is correctly
set. base should be equals to the current directory (ie.
/usr/share/devhelp/books/$BOOK_NAME) and not an URL espacially if you
don't have a permanent not proxied internet connexion !

Hope it would help,

Have a nice day,

PS: of course, you should replace $BOOK_NAME by the name of your book
(ie. gtk+-2.0) ;o)

Fred
