Thanks for the hint, that's really interesting. But my problem is a  
more generic one: How come libgnome ships with a libgnome.devhelp and  
libgnomeui doesn't? Both manuals are in my system's gtk-doc-directory.

Are they automatically generated from the html-docs? Or from xml- 
comments in the source? I don't really know how gtk-doc works...

Furthermore I noticed that function-searching doesn't work with the  
books from lidn, at least not for the gconf-manual I tried.
