Sorry I haven't replied before, I've been a bit busy.  But now I'm on
vacation and willing to start hacking on Scaffold again.

Well, I'm not a Scaffold core dev either.  I don't know most of the code
in there.  Gnome-build is another matter though, but it's a small part
of Scaffold :-)

But, I have some ideas.  As I said before, I'll start looking at
Scaffold code right away and fix some obvious stuff.  After that, I'd
like to come up with a rough roadmap for the near future.  For me, the
most important feature we should work on next, is a Python plugin
framework so new plugins can be prototyped very fast, and the project
can evolve.  I know this is very vague, so I'll try to write something
more detailed and specific in a few days.

As I learn about Scaffold's inner workings, I'll try to review the
patches.  But I can't approve them since I'm not maintainer, so Jeroen
will have the final word.
