devhelp: how to add new books?

Hi

How do I add new books to devhelp? For example, I just generated devhelp 
files for the allegro library, and I want to view them. I've tried 
creating a symlink in /usr/share/gtk-doc/html to the directory 
containing the allegro.devhelp, but devhelp doesn't recognize that.

I've looked in the devhelp manual but couldn't find any useful info there.

I'm using devhelp 0.11 that comes with ubuntu 6.06.
